电磁功率就是由空气隙磁场传递的功率,即由机械功率转变而来的功率,转变后的功率再减去定子铜损便得到输出的电功率,即发电机的出力。机械损耗和铁芯损耗、附加损耗合并即为空载损耗。激磁回路所消耗的功率由原动机或其它电源提供,不包括在发电机的功率平衡图中。
同步发电机的电磁功率可以通过下述公式计算:
Pem = (3VphIph cosφ)/1000
其中,Pem为电磁功率,Vph和Iph分别为发电机的相电压和相电流,cosφ为功率因数。这里的Pem单位为千瓦,Vph和Iph单位为伏特和安培,功率因数没有单位。
