直接驱动就是在驱动系统控制下，将直驱电机（力矩或直线）直接连接到负载上，实现对负载的直接驱动。采用此种结构，所有机械传动部件（减速齿轮箱、滚珠丝杠、齿条与齿轮、皮带与皮带轮等）均不再需要，了由机械传动带来的反向间隙、迟滞、弹性及与之相关的其它问题。

直驱电机的分类

直驱电机主要分为直线电机、力矩电机和音圈电机三类，前两者目前比较常见。
