温度敏感：由于永磁同步电机的永磁材料容易受到温度影响，因此在高温环境下容易磁化弱化。

控制复杂：由于永磁同步电机需要与变频器配合使用，因此控制复杂度较高，需要进行的控制。

由于永磁同步电机的转子是永磁体，不可调节，通过增加定子直轴的去磁电流分量来削弱磁场，这样会增加定子电流，增加电机的铜耗。

与异步电机相比，成本会相对高一些、还有起动困难等缺点。
